Mike Honeycutt / Mystery Hearsay

Mystery Hearsay is the name for the solo musical projects of Mike Honeycutt. I started networking in the early eighties. I got a copy of C.L.E.M. and wrote to some of the contacts included in this vital pub (edited by Alex Douglas). Later I started mystery hearsay cassettes in 1983- and released a C60 of my solo recordings. The first step release provided me something to trade with. I networked more and more with other indie people and labels worldwide. This exchange led to starting my own cassette label of the same name. The next thing – activities expanded to compiling and releasing compilation cassettes from other indie minded contacts worldwide. NOW tapegerm has made it possible to do all this online
